CleanRoute Terms of Use
Effective date: October 4, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the CleanRoute mobile application and the CleanRoute website (together, the “Service”) provided by NJ App Development (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. For questions, contact nicholas.jones@njappdevelopment.com.
1. The Service
CleanRoute is a business organization tool for independent cleaning professionals. It can help you prepare quotes, schedule and track jobs, record payment status and earnings, view job history, and use address and directions features. CleanRoute does not perform cleaning services, collect payments from your clients, verify a client's ability to pay, or guarantee revenue or business results. You are responsible for your own contracts, prices, taxes, client communications, and work.
2. Accounts and authorized users
You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Your account and subscription are for your own use. Unless NJ App Development expressly authorizes it in writing, you may not share your sign-in, permit an employee or contractor to use your account, or use one subscription for multiple people. Tell us promptly at the contact address above if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your data and acceptable use
You retain responsibility for the client, job, address, quote, and other information you enter into the Service (“Your Content”). You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to enter and store Your Content, including any client personal information. You grant us permission to host, process, synchronize, and display Your Content only as needed to operate and support the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not use CleanRoute to violate law, infringe rights, upload harmful code, interfere with the Service, access another user’s account, or store information that is unnecessary for managing your cleaning business.
4. Free features and CleanRoute Pro
CleanRoute offers a free plan with a limit of five active quotes and jobs. CleanRoute Pro, while an eligible subscription is active, offers unlimited active quotes and jobs, recurring visits, and expanded earnings reports. The features included in a plan are described in the app. We may improve or change features over time, subject to applicable law and any notice required for material changes.
5. In-app purchases and subscription billing
CleanRoute Pro may be offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription. The current price, billing period, currency, taxes, and any introductory offer or trial are shown in the app and Apple’s purchase sheet before you confirm a purchase. A subscription is charged to your Apple Account through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. It automatically renews for the same period unless you cancel before renewal. Apple handles payment collection, receipts, applicable price-change notices or consent, and billing issues under its terms. We do not receive your payment-card details from Apple.
If an introductory offer, free trial, or offer code is available, its eligibility, duration, and post-offer price are displayed before purchase and are subject to Apple’s applicable rules. Unless you cancel before the trial or offer period ends, the subscription may renew at the price shown at purchase. Promotional offers are not guaranteed and may be changed or discontinued as permitted by law.
Changing between monthly and annual plans may affect the start date, charges, or credit for unused time. Apple presents the applicable terms during the change. Pro access depends on a valid subscription entitlement and may be interrupted if a payment fails or Apple revokes or refunds a transaction.
6. Canceling a subscription
You can manage or cancel an Apple-billed CleanRoute subscription in your iPhone or iPad Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, select CleanRoute, and choose Cancel Subscription. You can also follow Apple’s subscription-cancellation instructions. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not by itself refund a charge already made. Pro access normally continues until the end of the paid period unless Apple’s transaction status or applicable law provides otherwise. Deleting the app or your CleanRoute account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it separately through Apple.
7. Restoring purchases
If you reinstall CleanRoute or change devices, use the app’s Restore Purchases feature while signed in to the Apple Account used to buy the subscription. You may also need to sign in to the CleanRoute account associated with your data. If a valid purchase is not restored, contact us at the email above with non-sensitive details about the issue; do not send payment-card information.
8. Refunds and billing disputes
Apple processes CleanRoute in-app purchases and ordinarily handles refund decisions for Apple-billed transactions. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase, and select the CleanRoute charge. Apple’s refund instructions explain the process. Refund eligibility varies by transaction and region and is determined under Apple’s policies and applicable law. We cannot promise that Apple will approve a request. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Offline operation, synchronization, and maps
CleanRoute may store changes on your device while offline and attempt to synchronize them when connectivity returns. If the same job changes on another device, you may need to choose which version to keep. Synchronization, device storage, and third-party services can fail; keep separate copies of information that is important to your business. Address suggestions and directions are supplied by Apple Maps or other third-party services and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Verify a service address before relying on it or traveling there.
10. Intellectual property and app license
We and our licensors retain rights in the Service, its software, design, and branding. You retain rights in Your Content. The app is licensed, not sold. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement governs the license for the iOS app unless a valid custom app license is provided in App Store Connect. These Terms govern use of the CleanRoute Service and supplement, but do not replace or override, that app license or mandatory law.
11. Availability, suspension, and account closure
We may maintain, update, or temporarily suspend the Service, and may restrict or terminate access if an account is used unlawfully, compromises security, or materially breaches these Terms. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address a problem. You may stop using CleanRoute and request account deletion through the app. Account deletion may permanently remove or make your stored data unavailable, subject to legal retention requirements. Cancel any Apple subscription separately before deleting your account.
12. Disclaimers and limits of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular business purpose. You are responsible for reviewing quotes, records, directions, and reports before acting on them. To the extent permitted by law, NJ App Development is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the Service. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not affect rights or remedies that cannot be waived.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise stated. If you do not agree to an updated version, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription through Apple.
